Average restaurant, but with a few highlights that are worth trying. As for the pizza: Although I am not a pizza eater, I can say that the pizzas that I tried a few times were very nice in batter and topped and tasted exceptionally well, but in terms of taste they did not go beyond what I had with neighboring ones I have already experienced pizzerias (e.g. the one in Schwabhausen). The ingredients are mass-produced (mostly from the bucket) and do not differ from the usual standard in Italian restaurants. At the same time, you can get a good pizza for cheap money. I do not recommend the pasta dish in particular! Anyone who knows Italian cuisine knows that not every pasta dish there automatically has to sink into a thick mush of greasy cream sauce, garnished with all kinds of ingredients! This type of preparation is probably due to the German taste and is probably very popular with children and young people. We recommend the starters, which are characterized by imaginative and tasty ingredients and, together with the typical Italian bread, often represent a small experience in themselves. The fish dishes, especially the fresh sea bream and baby turbot (if they were delivered fresh, which is not always the case!), Deserve special mention. These (not exactly cheap) fish are prepared extremely tasty and are, so to speak, the house specialty. In the meantime, however, I had to refrain from the mussels (which are offered seasonally), as in the past I was served too often goods that didn't seem fresh to me and tasted accordingly. Even the excellent white wine sauce couldn't do anything. The meat dishes are (as is usual with "Italians") all completely overpriced and, given the very manageable portion sizes, unacceptable in terms of price-performance ratio. But when you do order one of them (highly recommended: Ossobuco - if there is one), you are completely blown away with joy. They are simply wonderfully made and often garnished with a heavenly light sauce. I can say little about the wines. The couple of times that I have ordered a fresh white wine have made me very happy - they were light, fruity and catchy and go well with all dishes.

For me this is Italy, the best Italian restaurant ever. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and warm. The boss an excellent cook. We have already celebrated 2 weddings there, just great. We always like to come, feel very comfortable and enjoy the kitchen. For us it is like visiting friends. The food was very tasty.

Always friendly and the very best pizza in the district, at more than fair prices. Only looking for a parking space can occasionally be annoying in the evening, despite 8 parking spaces directly in front of it. Always my pleasure!

We often go to this well-kept Italian restaurant. Very good and varied food offer. We enjoy the fish cooked in the Italian way, but also sometimes a very good piece of meat with a Lambrusco for my wife and a beer for me. You can feel the Italian way of life with every bite, because the food is prepared by the chef himself. The service is very attentive and friendly; Always amazing how they manage to provide this service even when the number of guests is high. We like to come back again and again ...

Meh... Not particularly fine dining, over cooked fish and vegetables, don't bother dressing up, people will look at you as if you're from Mars.

I had a good quality meal here but honestly, I left the restaurant disappointed because I had expected a more exciting experience given the extremely high ratings here. I don't know how far one would need to travel for better Italian food but I had much better dining experiences in, say, Königsbrunn. The sauce of both the pasta and the fish were rather thin and while I may be wrong, I suspect that both were made from industrial concentrate. especially the almond sauce was overpowered by the base of the sauce - I saw lots of almonds but couldn't taste them (maybe roasting the almonds more would have helped). Service was reliable but a bit cool. all in all, nothing wrong, and a good bet for hungry souls given the generous portions - but for a 5-Star meal I would keep searching!
